Seven Artspace, Chapel Allerton

Most of you have probably heard or been to Seven in Chapel Allerton, but if you haven't- then GO RIGHT NOW!
I discovered the arts cafe yesterday by chance, I knew it existed but thought it was in the Town rather than the Allerton and I refrain from going to the Town.

Anyway this is a fab large cafe on the main road through Chapel Allerton, that for a sunday afternoon was really busy. Its a non profit community 'Artspace' that has a black box performance space attached to it.

Yesterday a jazz afternon was being held, which I believe to be a regular event. The space was very intimate and you really felt apart of the jazz band. The hall can hold 70people on racked seating and 30 people on flat seating.

The Space can be transformed for different events; to hold dance classes, wedding receptions or amateur dramatic performances.

Cafe area spills out on to the decked seating area, perfect in the summer.

The space was designed by OSA architects in Chapel Allerton with community input. The building was completed in July 2006 and Cost £1.35million
